Summary
When he closes his eyes, Max's last thought is that if he wasn’t so tired, he would stand up and make Lando dances with him. It doesn't really make sense, they wouldn’t even have any songs to listen to and there’s no doubt they would rapidly transform into a heap of uncoordinated limbs. Yet, being surrounded by Lando’s presence and finally feeling like he's got his body under control is all he's wanted for weeks and it feels too good to pass the opportunity to celebrate.
And so, he falls asleep to that fantasy, convinced his health is finally coming back to him and with the image of Lando stepping on his feet as he tries to spin him around.
