Summary
Ratio’s hands tightened on the steering wheel. "I was observing a case study in terminal narcissism and poor choices. That dress was vulgar, Aventurine. Utterly inappropriate for the occasion." The words were sharp, dismissive, but they lacked their usual conviction. They tasted like a lie on her tongue.
"Vulgar?" Aventurine repeated, a sly smile playing on her lips. "You thought it was vulgar? Funny. I thought you rather… appreciated it."
To prove her point, she shifted again, parting her legs just enough. It wasn’t a wide, obscene spread, but a subtle, calculated invitation. The emerald dress, already criminally short, crept up another precious inch, exposing the full, tanned expanse of her inner thighs.
The sight hit Ratio like a physical blow. The rain, the road, the rules—they all faded into a dull, distant hum.
All bets were off.

Summary
Alhaitham happened to be the first real guest of Kaveh's newly finished, long-awaited, personally designed house. The place glittered from floor to ceiling, with all the extravagance and elegance a wealthy architect could buy in the heart of the city.
But even then, some things never change. It couldn't escape Alhaitham's notice that the bathroom was chock full of his favourite products, or that the familiar aroma of sandalwood oudh permeated each room.
So when Kaveh, after a candlelit dinner, offered (asked) him to stay the night, despite the state of the unfurnished guest bedroom - which Alhaitham knew was missing even a modest mattress - it was as if a decade-long puzzle he was too scared to solve finally clicked into place.

Summary
For years, Ratio has assured himself that he is happy.
He has spent countless nights reaffirming that the prospect of a lifetime spent alone—basking in the quiet comforts of domestic bliss—is the most suitable path for him. Safe. Predictable. Undisturbed.
It is only fitting that Aventurine of the Stonehearts should be the one to intrude upon his carefully constructed existence and irreversibly change everything.
Veritas Ratio has reached a point in his life where the troublesome urges of his secondary gender no longer affect him, making him the ideal candidate to help the late-presenting omega, Aventurine, navigate the changes in his life. The plan is simple: They will endure Aventurine’s heats together until the new omega's cycle stabilizes.
What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
“Why does it not–” Kaveh’s voice ripped out in a whine. “Have you not thought about it at all since then?”
A long pause. The longest one yet. “Who says I haven’t?”
Lightning flashed through the window, illuminating Al-Haitham’s face. Half of it was still wrapped in shadow, blocked by Kaveh’s head, but he could see the distance between them measured, laid flat by the light. The lightning went. The room went dark. But the memory of Al-Haitham’s wide eyes did not leave him.
What did he want?
“Have you?” asked Kaveh.
“Have you?” Al-Haitham’s voice was so quiet, buried under the murmur of the rain.
Kaveh swallowed. “I mean…I thought that was obvious.”
Kaveh accidentally sleeps with Al-Haitham. And then...keeps sleeping with him.

Summary
The man tugs a little too tight on his hair, and something in Kaveh’s brain short-circuits. Wine and sleep-deprivation crackle between his synapses; white flame bursts behind his eyes. Suddenly, the hands in his hair don’t belong to the Kshahrewar graduate—they belong to someone much younger, much more familiar, whose skin smells like coffee and parchment and mint.
Without thinking, Kaveh moans, "Haitham."
He’s suspended in the moment for what could be eons; every second is blissful. Warmth coils at the base of his belly. This is good. This is—
Wait.
Wait.
Seemingly out of the blue, Kaveh comes to realize his dear junior is... well, hot.
If only he could do something about it.
(And by "something," Kaveh means: blow Alhaitham into the next life.)
