Your eyes betray you and glance down at the leather wallet resting on your leg. You can see the white of the card, his card, poking out of the side slot. The cursive of his name is almost fully visible. "Levi Ackerman".

Your eyes meet his. "I have the feeling I'll be getting your money either way," you say casually, turning the card machine towards him. "Will that be cash or card?"

Or, Levi Ackerman thinks flowers do nothing but cost a shit ton of money, carry around bugs, and then die, thereby defining them as pointless. But then he meets you, and while they're still all of those things, maybe they have a different definition.
