Summary
Quintus works at King Cog's Coffee Shop with his boyfriend Barbillus, his sister Lucia and his friends Volubilis and Poppaea. On the opposite side of the street is Mea Columba, the coffee shop where Grumio, Clemens, Salvius, Bregans and Melissa work.
Everything would be fine, if not for the fact that Salvius has an intense one-sided rivalry with Cogidubnus, and seems to want him dead.
With lots of yelling, singing, flour and pastries, it's just an average day in Vesuvius Street.

Summary
He’s cold, his brain vaguely registers, his body shaking violently as gentle snow falls from the sky, melting on his skin.
The melted snow drips down the back of his thin shirt and makes him shiver as the harsh wind blows against his back.
His shirt nor trousers do anything against the cold, they were made for sunny days with the sun shining warmly above him as he stood in the green grass, blades of grass tickled his feet gently as it sways in the cool summer breeze, shoes long abandoned.
A dull throbbing makes itself known and he lightly touches his hand against his stomach.
It comes back bloody.
