In all truth, you didn't like the guy. If you were "prickly," then he was downright irascible. Evidently, he'd declined Soap's invitation to Scotland. If that's the case, then why in the world does he say "yes" when you blurt out a half-witted Christmas invitation to your empty London apartment?
