Summary
A series of ficlets, most with Clive Rosfield pairings at the forefront!
Chapter 6 Preview:
“Really, Cid,” he huffs. “Sometimes I feel like you want to get hit.”
Cid smirks at him. “By you? Most certainly.”
Clive splutters back. The expectant look Cid’s giving him makes him pause, and a thought comes to him, unbidden. Surely, it cannot be, but… “Cid, are you—are you flirting with me?”

Summary
It's come to Clive's attention that perhaps, just perhaps, he's spoiled Joshua a little too much.
Jill groans exasperatedly. “It’s not just his beef with Cid, Clive—wake up! The kid is obsessed with you. He went and put a tracker in your phone because he’s unable to go half a day without knowing exactly where you are. He threatened arson against the chemistry teacher who flirted with you, and then blew up his lab a week later!”
“That was an unfortunate coincidence,” Clive says defensively. “The police found no evidence. And surely Mr. Tharmr was exaggerating—Joshua would never threaten to commit arson. He’s not a violent person.”
“Please,” she scoffs. “We both know that Joshua bit tons of kids growing up."

Summary
Preordained by the will of God, Barnabas was ever fated to fall by Clive Rosfield’s blade. Finally having fulfilled his purpose, Barnabas departs the world, leaving the rest in Ultima's Hands. Except, Barnabas's end doesn't come-not quite in the way he thought it would, anyway.
Barnabas was a blind, conceited fool. And he’s led humanity to their doom.
But the world does not perish, for in its time of need, a true saviour emerges.
Like a Phoenix rising from its ashes, Clive Rosfield bursts through the dark, haunting clouds of Primogenesis and brings back hope, light and clear skies to all of Valisthea. He surpasses his limitations as Mythos to become Logos, and then proceeds to defeat the very god that created them.

Ficlet Collection centering Clive & Joshua
Chapter 2 Preview:
“You keep some rather… strange bedfellows, Joshua.”
Joshua sniffs defensively. “You have your associates. I have mine.”
“A cult,” Clive deadpans. “You have a cult, Joshua. You know that, right?”

Summary
Dion often dreams of another world, unlike his own, where fantasy becomes a reality. In this world, he meets a man named Ifrit. He cannot stop thinking about him.
He’s a respected dignitary. A powerful warrior.
But none of this is what truly captures his attention in these dreams, no. His interest isn’t roused by the fantastical world and its creatures, nor his royal status and magical powers.
Instead, there is a man.
He’s beautiful.
He’s so breathtakingly gorgeous, in fact, that although his appearances are brief—mere snippets of long, endless dreams—his visage lingers beyond sleep, and haunts Dion every waking moment after.

Summary
“The Greeks believed that the dead retained no memory of their previous selves,” Hannibal told him, “upon entering Hades, all that was once known was forever rendered to the dust. But Homer wrote that Odysseus found Achilles and his Patroclus united, defiant of divine order even onto death. ”
“A bond so intimate that they couldn't suffer death apart,” Will replied. “Is that what we are?”
Post-Finale. With Chiyoh's help, Hannbal and Will survive their fall and go into hiding together. As they slowly regain their strength, the pair are forced to address the unspoken darkness- the fear, resentment, the unbridled longing- that gnaws between them.

Summary
The almost comedic mood that the three of them had just set disappears in an instant once Beverly turns and sees Will. He’s standing toward the back of the room and shaking like a leaf.
Shit, she thinks as she hurries toward him; she can’t help but berate herself for her oversight.
Because even though she, along with Brian and Jimmy, haven’t voiced it out loud, they’re all aware of what Will's empathy can do to him; Will is always more distressed after slipping out of a particularly brutal killers mind, and to say that this crime scene falls under that category is an understatement.

Summary
Perhaps he will draw a crowd, small though it may be. Money is money, and small change guarantees at least a coffee in the morning, which is enough fuel for his broken mind to function at its peak capacity - after everything. And if he’s lucky, very lucky, he might have enough for a cheap drink before he sleeps.
Will doesn’t let himself remember what having a good day used to mean. It doesn’t do to dwell on unrealities.
Will Graham is homeless in Florence, making money reading people who pass by. Set post Red Dragon verse.

Summary
Given the number of degrees, diplomas and doctoral qualifications between the two of them, Will reckons it took a worrying amount of time for them to make the connection between intimate living and, well, sexual intimacy.

Summary
Hannibal presses his lips together, sighing through his nose as he lowers his hand, forces himself to pry his fingers away from the sweat-damp curl of Will's hair. He had simply meant to tuck it behind his ear, away from his face. Too close to his forehead. Too close to his neck. Hannibal knows touch-starvation, he has felt it since he turned himself in and that single embrace on the cliffs had only whetted his appetite and sharpened his fangs. Will's neck is caked with blood, his sore shoulders stiff with strain from helping Hannibal haul the body into their safehouse, to dissect and harvest for their meal.
"You're starving me," he whispers, and steps away.
Will lets out a rough sound, eager and savage and shows his teeth when he smiles. "It's what we deserve."
