Olivia Wenscombe is ready to flee London. She's just left Borden and his descent into obsession—and of course, Angier has returned too. There's nothing left for her in this city other than the chokehold of maniacal men.
But the announcement of Angier's new show has piqued her curiosity. They claim that he's returned with a device from Tesla capable of amazing things... and she wants to see it, up close, at least once before she vanishes from this life forever. One short trip to see the device couldn't hurt.
Soon, after inadvertently becoming a subject for Tesla's cloning magic herself, Olivia is given the chance to see what it's like first-hand to be in her own company. And it's eye-opening, to say the least.
