Summary
Chase isn't stupid. He can try to ignore this, act like it doesn't exist— something he's been doing for decades of his life. He can tell himself this is something that can't be helped, that there's nothing he can do, like he has been doing this whole time.
He knows what this is. Feels the call of it more now than ever before, now that he can see the possibilities of what could be.
He's dirty and ragged and morally fucked. People like him don't change.
Park's like him. Maybe not in most ways, but in the ones that matter. He could be living this, too. If Park can, then Chase can.
Or: Park comes out to Chase as nonbinary, and it ends up having more repercussions than initially expected.

"You missed me. Didn't you?" House whispers into his ear, as if it were some sacred secret.
"Of course I did."
He nods. "Good," House murmurs, even softer and lower than Wilson's ever heard from him. "I wanted to make you feel it. Miss me so badly you couldn't help yourself. Drive you insane. I'm just feeding you your own medicine, you know."
Wilson sighs, burying himself into the crane of House's neck, and grinds on House's shorts, where a tent is starting to form. He can't think. All he wants to know is the next sensation, what other kinds of dirty, furtive secrets House will whisper, how good House can make him feel.
Or: House starts acting weird after a fight. Wilson's determined to get to the bottom of it.

The first that comes off is the tie. That stupid, lavender tie with purple-white stripes that Taub had stolen off of Foreman's closet, completely oblivious to the Foreman-centric chain of events that would follow; the first domino falling.

Foreman had told him not to push it. But, as any good diagnostician knows, a bit of pushing and browbeating is necessary to uncover the ultimate truth.

Fiddling with Georgie's belt, Ruben whispered something so low and racy into his ear that Georgie might not ever recover even just thinking of it. His belt is off then, and there's Ruben's hand trailing up his shirt, his weight on Georgie's lap.

“House, you okay?”
Of course he’s okay, he’s not the one dying, and as a matter of fact, right now, neither is Wilson. Wilson just has a stupid cold and decides to make it everyone else’s problem by having a coughing fit in the middle of the night and making House think he’s actively, acutely dying.
“House,” Wilson says, right next to his ear now. House startles – he hadn’t even heard him get out of bed. “House, listen to me. I think you’re having a panic attack. You need to breathe slowly and steadily.”
That’s ridiculous, House wants to say, but he can’t, because he’s suddenly very aware of how he can barely get enough air to breathe, let alone speak.
Wilson's fight with cancer affects House more than he cares to admit.

He’s angry, at first. Angry at House for hurting Cuddy so badly that she hasn’t returned to the hospital since the incident. For breaking his wrist, which still hurts like a bitch every time he moves his arm wrong, and aches even when at rest. For torching not only his career but his personal life too.
For leaving Wilson behind and all alone.

Over time, the anger fades, leaving a deep, bleeding, House-shaped wound in its wake. He’s no longer angry at the bastard, he just misses him. And isn’t that pathetic?
After the assault on Cuddy's house, Wilson spirals.
