Summary
After Shen Qingqiu sacrifices his own eyes for the Sect Master, he leaves Cang Qiong Mountain to escape any further scrutiny. Along the way, he inadvertently picks up traveling companions - first a small, headstrong boy, and then a kind, obliging man - as he attempts to leave his past behind.
Unbeknownst to him, his new companion is much more familiar with who he really is than he would expect.

Really? Luo Binghe’s brows shot into his hairline, while Shen Jiu narrowed his eyes and said, “Shizun, this disciple does not need - “ before cutting himself off and flushing pink. He hadn’t meant to say that.
In which Qing Jing disciple Luo Binghe suddenly finds himself with a new shidi to study with and look after, not that Shen Jiu is particularly receptive to any of that. They survive each other anyway.
