The story of Kazuha and Kunikuzushi set in ABO universe. The story is canon divergence with Kunikuzushi (Scaramouche) being born as human instead of the prototype doll.
The "Thousand Leaves and Thundering Storm" is the original story that started this series so it'll make more sense to read them in order!

“So, did you get that?” Kitahara turns toward him. Misuzu just barely managed to move his head down to the worksheet in front of him before he’d get caught staring.
“Uh… yeah, sort of. Thanks.”
The red head mentally berates himself for focusing more on his boyfriend’s face rather than his homework.
Kitahara senses it, “It’s fine if you still don’t understand. I can help out after school if you’d like. You said this is due tomorrow, right?” he says with a kind smile.
“You mean… you wanna come over to my place this evening?”
Misuzu’s struggling with his stupid math homework, and Kitahara, being the loving boyfriend he is, is more than happy to lend a helping hand.
