But he glanced around and saw them all talking and laughing, and him on the outside, and he thought, that. They were all pretty asshole-ish people. But for some reason all of them, even Andrew-Minyard-his-maybe-psycho-roommate, wanted to be here. Wanted to do this together. Wanted to be part of this family.
Neil wanted that with a bone-deep ache, so much it hurt.
