He spoke lovingly, maybe like the way the ‘Reo’ of this world would have done, as if he knew what he was talking about, pretending, in order to pass off as real. Pulling Nagi's arm closer to himself to lower his head to roughly pat his hair, fingers threading through in a motion familiar to Reo. Nagi didn’t pull away and let him, from their position Reo could see the soft way his expression loosened into a content halfsmile, Nagi positioned himself on the chair next to Reos, using his hand to guide Reos arm towards himself, Reo's hand almost gracefully lay rested next to the soft skin of Nagi's cheek, carefully caressing it like it would kill him to be any harsher.
A sigh bubbled into a soft laugh when Nagi leaned into the touch, like Reo wasn't actively messing up his hair. Warm moments like this almost made him forget, if not only for a moment, that this wasn't the Nagi he knew. That Reo was just acting in place of someone else, someone who was him, yet different, completely unfamiliar at the same time.

They were always together, any annoying event Reo had been forced into, she would always somehow manage to drag Nagi to every single one, obviously during school hours they would be glued to each other, inseparable, soccer and after school they would sit close to each other, Reo would stare at the soft way Nagi's careful fingers tapped across her phone, playfully complain in her ear to get up so that they could practice more, unconsciously holding Nagi close, closer than any person reasonably needs to be.
Too close for anyone else, but Nagi was different. Nagi was HER treasure!!!
