Summary
Walsh scoffs. “Don’t make this weird. You’re in your last year of residency and trying to manage housing is a big stressor that I can take off your plate.” She pauses, biting her lip. Samira’s eyes fall, involuntarily, to the action. “But, if it makes you uncomfortable, I can see if—”
“I’ll take it.”
Walsh blinks. “Great.” She nods. “Okay. I thought that would be a much harder sell.”

Summary
Robby shuffles closer until their knees touch, and places a gentle hand on Frank’s thigh. Frank opens his mouth to speak but is almost immediately cut off. “I know you’re probably overthinking this, so just let me talk for a bit first, okay?” Robby rumbled.
"I want to apologise first," Robby said, his thumb tracing slow circles on Frank's thigh through the thin fabric of his sweatpants. "When you went into rehab six months ago, I told myself I'd visit. I packed a bag twice. Drove halfway there once. And then I turned around."
Frank's brow furrowed. "You what?"
Or: The morning after Robby and Abbot discover Frank's self harm addiction.

Summary
He blinked, like surfacing too fast from deep water.
For a second, nothing made sense—the angle of his arm, the way his hand was still curled around the scalpel, the faint metallic smell in the air. Then his eyes focused, and the jagged wound across his forearm came into sharp relief.
Frank stared at it, his expression flattening as the dissociation peeled back. The cut was deeper than usual. “Damn it,” he muttered under his breath, pressing gauze against his forearm. The fabric soaked through faster than he liked. That was… not ideal.
Frank Langdon, now divorced and crashing at Jack Abbot's apartment, has turned to self harm in order to cope. When he cuts too deep, Abbot and Robby find out about his new problem against his will.

Summary
Frank Langdon has been struggling with his family life, work life, and sobriety since he returned to PTMC. Someone from his past shows up at PTMC leading him to spiral into depression and desperation. Robby, still struggling with his own mental health after his sabbatical, decides to intervene.
This is gonna be a very slow burn and there's a fair bit of plot before they get together. Gotta put Frank through the wringer first.
This will flip between Langdon and Robby's points of view.
Rating may change when things progress between Robby and Langdon. Though it won't happen quickly.Bookmarked by dnfmoas
