The Lord frowned, as if acknowledging Jamie’s presence for the first time, and pulled his arm back. He sniffed indignantly, and turned back to Trevor. “My apologies, your highness.”
“Your majesty. His Majesty, Trevor John Zegras, High King of Dimarys is only to be addressed by your majesty.” Jamie corrected, knowing that Trevor was going to give him an earful for this later. For someone so obsessed with himself, he hated hearing his full title out loud. Still, there is something to be said for how much satisfaction it gives Jamie to correct this little weasel of a man who barely gave him a spare look. And these days, since there is not so much fun to be had, Jamie has to find it whenever he can.
