Remember, all the government posters say, it was the Marked that destroyed the world.
The Old World was lost to famine and calamity and a new, harsher one has risen in its place. A city divided into sectors, ruled by a king and his chaebol court, where the Marked struggle to eke out a living in poverty and oppression, and one mistake can get you sanctioned forever - lost to hard labor in the factories and greenhouses or to life as a companion trapped in the gilded apartments of the inner sector elite.
But a revolution is stirring in the shadows and everything is about to change.

He's had a couple chaperoned playdates with Jimin; not the snack-all-day mario kart play dates they have 4 times a week, but the ones where Jimin and Taehyung get to touch and taste each other, for hours sometimes, until Jimin arranges himself on all fours and allows Taehyung to mount him, rutting into that beautiful wet heat while Hoseok and Yoongi (Jimin and Taehyung’s caregivers, respectively) sit off to the side and supervise, common protocol for unmated hybrids who haven’t been spayed or neutered yet in order to avoid accidental pregnancies.
He’s never had Jimin during his heat, though.
