Hi chat I've been rewatching Daredevil and it's altered my brain chemistry in such a way that I must write more fanfiction. Gen or slash if you squint. Nelson and Murdock have taken on case involving emancipating a teen from neglectful parents, but Matt's investigation has shown a deeply sinister underbelly to the story. This is revealed to Foggy when Matt shows up on his fire escape incredibly sleep deprived, hungry, and too weak to take another step on his own. No real plot, no beta. idk where on timeline this would be and can't be bothered to figure it out oppsies. I hope you enjoy anyways :)
Warning for vague descriptions of child trafficking and general self neglect and recklessness on Matt's part.

Scene fill in the last episode of season 1! Happens in between Daredevil's final fight with Fisk and Nelson and Murdock getting back together. Foggy goes to Matt's apartment to help him recuperate a bit and there are feelings and some even some communication. Can be read as bros just really being bros, but probably makes more sense as slash or pre-slash. First aid, making soup, bed sharing.

Hi I’ve never written or published any fanfic before and I wrote this in my notes app, so sorry if anything is weird or wrong!
A short story in which Matt hasn’t been eating enough and the night before a big exam Foggy goes out of his way to make sure he has food and is generally taken care of. In my head this takes place at Columbia with Matt and Foggy as undergrads (idk if they really went to Columbia as undergrads but that’s how I imagine it). They are roommates of course and their friendship is starting to grow, but Foggy thinks Matt has some concerning habits. Can definitely be read a pre slash. Same story told twice, once focusing on Matt’s POV and once on Foggy’s, but all in 3rd person. Hope that makes sense!

Peter Parker, recently utterly, heart-wrenchingly alone, is doing online community college, working for the Daily Bugle, and living his best life as Spider-Man. No, really, he is living the greatest life of all time. This is exactly how everything should have gone. Best case scenario. Seriously.
Matt Murdock, with his mother, girlfriend, and best friend at his side, is... pretty well off, actually. Or, he was, until he suddenly had two more reckless idiots raising his blood pressure.

Frank swore, dragging Spider-Man’s limp body away from the rooftop’s edge. Jesus, he could feel the boy’s bones through his spandex costume. No wonder the hero had been so off, Frank huffed. He weighed about as much as a ten-year-old girl. That had to have some sort of effect on the body, malnutrition or whatever medical terminology Frank refused to care about.
The vigilante had no idea what to do. He set Spider-Man onto the apartment roof, pulling out his burner phone. He scrolled through his short list of contacts, finding Matt under ‘Red.’ He pressed the call button, muttering, “Come on, Matt. Fucking pick up.”

Summary
Post-no way home, Peter Parker is trying to re-build his life, moving to Daredevil's part of New York, finding a decent apartment, the cheapness shows with the problems with it, thin walls, plumbing, creaky floor boards, etc. He's still taking notes of everything, taking small pick ups and taking action.
Matt Murdock is a law professor, still operating as Daredevil during the night. He's still trying to figure out how to balance both things. A student walks in who missed the first day of school walks in, Matt recognizes part of the heart beat patterns from a bar fight a few days earlier.
The temperature is dropping outside, so is Matt's patience. It messes up even more as he finds out the vigilante he was fighting was a kid that could barely cover bills and was beat up in the pile of snow In front of him, slipping in and out of conciseness.
