Summary
How has this not been brought up before? He thought they had both waited eagerly, impatiently, desperately for what they have now. For when they could stop pretending that they don't want each other and actually be together.
Was he wrong about all of that? Is it possible that, somehow, Ilya couldn't care less if they were sleeping with other people or not. Is this some twisted form of…generosity? Or is it guilt, because Ilya wants to sleep with other people? Did he really enter a waking nightmare where Ilya is growing bored of him and wants them to change things up with other people?

Luca glanced sideways at Boodram, who was frozen with one arm in his jacket. It truly would have been hilarious, the way they all watched this scene unfold like a car crash, if it didn’t also feel like one.
They shared a confused glance, turning back when Rozanov’s incredulous “A ride?” rang through the locker room.
