Summary
"I'm saying," Oscar replied smoothly, not leaning back, "that you're a very loud addition to a very quiet sport."
Oscar Piastri is the Golden Boy of Tennis — calm, focused, and fiercely protective of his perfectly quiet life.
Lando Norris is a Formula 1 World Champion — chaotic, loud, and constantly living under the blinding lights of the paparazzi. When a chance encounter in Melbourne sparks an unlikely friendship, Lando decides the Prince of the Court needs a little chaos in his life. From the red clay of Paris to the deafening roar of the Silverstone paddock, keeping their distance quickly becomes the hardest game either of them has ever played.

“You think I’m inexperienced, you think I’ll fuck your races up” he continued.
Lando scoffed, refusing to let this- this rookie, have one up on him, “Point to the experience on your resume that says you won’t”, he was getting proper fired up now, trying to hit where it hurt.
“Maybe I’ll surprise you” Oscar continued, his gaze met Lando’s, challenge clear in his eyes.
Lando’s eyebrows rose at the audacity, a small smile growing on his face, before he threw back in Oscar’s direction.
“Maybe you won’t”
“What if I do?”
“If, if, if…”, Lando quoted, mockingly.

Summary
In Las Vegas, the last thing that George Russell expects to celebrate his victory with is making out with Max Verstappen in the toilet cubicle in some fancy, upscale bathroom. Not only is he prim and proper and straight, but it is Max Verstappen, who is brash and angry and reckless. It still hurts when Max pushes him away and refuses to talk to him afterwards but it’s whatever - not at all like George can’t stop thinking about his stupid face and stupid hands and stupid laugh.
And then Qatar.
Qatar happens and all of George’s messy, unnameable emotions are spilled out across the front page of every media outlet and social media profile. His colleagues are making jokes and getting involved, his team principal is stepping up to the mat for him, and all George is really sure about is that he would like to either punch Max Verstappen or kiss Max Verstappen again.
As the 2024 season draws to a close and the off-season begins, George navigates what identity means to him, his approaches to life and racing, and whether or not there is a place in his life that might suit Max Verstappen, if he is brave enough to choose him.
