Isha and Jinx had a chaotic life. Ranging from violent, murder-filled plots and small moments of joy where Jinx and Isha simply nap on a sofa. Isha isn't sure what she saw in Jinx that made her sure... SURE... that Jinx would be safe, but she's glad she did. Her old mom cast her into the street once food got a little scarce, but Jinx always made sure Isha could eat, even if the girl herself couldn't.

Binged this in probably 3-4 days when it was 400k+ and have been keeping up with it since. Great fic, recommend to anyone looking for a clever "chosen one" MC that's a girl (for once) and handles romance fairly well.

“No, I—I. Um.” Quiet. A steadying breath. “Now you’re just teasing me,” Kara murmurs, a dusting of red high on her cheeks. Lena’s delighted.
“First, you come into my home unexpectedly,” Lena says, and Kara whispers-justifies a quiet yeah, to cuddle, “and now you lick my neck. What’s next?”
