    Summary

Link has to face the enormity of his task to subdue the Divine Beasts, and his anxieties surrounding his previous failure, all the while having to deal with a massive crush on a certain shark prince. Sidon's own feelings for Link, he finds, are not quite as platonic as he previously believed. Meanwhile, the lizalfos are encroaching on Zora's Domain, but for what nefarious purpose?

Basically, the elf-dork and the shark-dork have lots of emotional pining issues while lizalfos politics run interference. This fic has heavy plot at times, but also the lizalfos speak in iambic pentameter, for funsies. There are also awful puns.

    Summary

The diner on the corner by the 7 Eleven stays open after midnight and caters to an unusual crowd.

Hitoshi is just curious how his favorite human waiter went this long without noticing anything strange.

    ***

Hitoshi traced the heart engraved onto the tabletop with a bitten-to-shit nail. He didn't care who had crawled out of their crypt for the night or who was wandering the city after the witching hour. Right now, it wasn't his job to care, and he hadn't come here to mingle. He came here for coffee. Dark roast. Cream, no sugar. Waffles a la mode on a bad night. And—

    “Hey, stranger.”

    He jerked upright.

And the only human awake in this corner of Musutafu, apparently.

    Summary

Hitoshi added the droplets at the slow pace recommended. That don’t look right, chief, said another viewer.

Hitoshi peered at the level of froth and sighed. “Rest in fucking pieces, guys.” Hitoshi ducked beneath a table, the translucent bubble of a shield spell bursting in the air. The las thing stream could hear was Kaminari in the background with a, “I told you so,” right before the kettle exploded and ended the stream, taking the camera with it.

Izuku gave him an unimpressed look when he poked his head out to observe the aftermath. “I thought Kacchan was supposed to be the one who blew things up.”

“I’m telling him you said that.”

Not many people looked at Shinsou Hitoshi and thought he was a prodigy, given his reputation as a popular streamer who often made homemade potions in electric kettles. Let alone someone who had written a doctoral thesis on the cultural applications of demon blood in modern-day potionry.

(No matter what Kaminari said, he wasn’t salty about it. He was not.)

    Summary

This year, UA is experimenting with a new Young Villain and Criminal Reformation Program. Instead of twenty hero students, the first year hero class will be a combination of both hero and villain students....The hero students will have one year to find the villains in their midst in order to escape Eraserhead’s expulsion. For the villains, this is their last shot— it’s blending in or it’s prison.

Midoriya Izuku wants nothing more than to be the first quirkless hero. After failing the practical hero exam, he’s shocked when he receives a letter telling him that he has been offered a tentative position in the illustrious Class 1-A.

There’s just one problem: Midoriya has been accepted to Class 1-A as a villain, and he has absolutely no idea why.

    I AM
    SO
    EXCITED
    TO READ THIS

the analysis on hagakure at the end brooooo YESSS

IZUKU BEING NEZUS STUDENT IS ALWAYS INCREDIBLE go show how smart you are and Nezu will mold that intelligence into something TERRFYING

    YESS SHINSOUUUUU

AAHHHHHHH YES YESYESSSSSS I FUCKING LOVE WHEN HE GOES BY DEKIRU INSTEAD OF DEKU AHHHHHH ITS EVERYTHING THIS MAKES ME SO FUCKING HAPPY
“ Uraraka bapped him on the head. “Stop being dramatic! You can do this, Dekiru!”

Midoriya did a double take. “What did you call me?”

“Oh,” the brunette blushed. “It’s just that Bakugo has that really mean name for you. But you’re always so positive and you can get do anything, so I thought that would be a better nickname than ‘deku.’ If you don’t like it I’ll never say it again, I promise!”

Midoriya smiled. “No, no. I… I love it! I really, really, really like it.”

    Dekiru. Huh.”

LMAOOOOO NOT IZUKU CLOCKING THAT ERASERHEAD WAS THE VIGILANTE REDEYE IN HID FUCKING MIDTERM PAPER HAHAHA
“ Aizawa-sensei walked over to their corner of the classroom and handed Mineta and Yaoyorozu back their papers. Midoriya waited for his own to come back but instead, Aizawa-sensei looked down at him with that almost-not-really smile.

    It was fucking terrifying.

“Midoriya, I burned your paper. You know why. Full marks.””

“ Shinsou shrugged. “Then beg. My point is, if we’re going off of traditionally villainous quirks, you and I are ranked far higher than Midoriya over there in terms of danger. Nobody wants to have their quirk or their free will taken away, especially not by a ‘hero’,” he scoffed.

Midoriya thought about those words, thought about what had attracted him to Shinsou in the first place during the Obstacle Course. Obviously, he had planned on recruiting Shinsou from the beginning, but there had been a reason for choosing him with a nonphysical quirk— and it wasn’t just to prove a point. He had seen the potential there, the same potential that lurked within himself, that simmering rage and spite that manifested itself differently but stemmed from the same source.

At the heart of it, they weren’t so different.

YESYEEEEEYSYESYEYSYES YOU UNDERTSANDDD THEIR CONNECTION YESSSSSSSSSS
