Virion raises one hand to his mask. Pinches the fabric that lays just above his nose. One tug. Just—tug it down, take a drink, pull it back up. Don’t panic if anyone looks because—they won’t care. They’re all unmasked. Except for Will. But. He’s Will. He—yeah.
He pulls down his mask like ripping off a bandaid. He lifts the cup to his mouth and takes a sip—too fast, making Conspiracy jump a little and—that’s literally fine, if he’s looking, because he’s not going to do anything bad and he’s letting Imprint use his powers and letting them stay in his house and—
“Jesus fucking Christ.”
Conspiracy’s voice is thick—horrified, maybe; shocked, certainly. Imprint turns to look at him, lowering his cup. Conspiracy is just—staring. At him. Eyes wide behind his sunglasses. There’s something in that gaze—recognition.

the wards' trickster hunting takes them through chicago. an old retired hero team lends them a place to stay. nothing bad happens at all and virion imprint sol is very normal and well adjusted ^_^

Lightspeed knows logically that weeks of her life, alongside her teammates’, have all been building up to this. She knows just how the… The villain in that interrogation room sent dozens of towers up in flames and massacred anyone who got in his way.
And yet, all she sees is a pale, too-thin kid getting swallowed by his own jacket.

Vyncent had never felt such pure, unrestrained rage in his entire life. His entire body seized up as if he had been struck as the phrase circled through his mind in a perpetual loop. His breathing congealed as a pit grew in his stomach.
“How dare you.”
A child.

William Wisp is just your average seventeen year old. What do you mean teenagers aren't supposed to be undead and have ghost powers? What do you mean most people aren't infamous supervillains who are partnered with Mallard Conway? Ah whatever, what do you know.
Vyncent Sol, or better known as Virion, is the apprentice of the great heroes Silhouette and The Hexpert.
Ashe Winters is just like Vyncent, except he has anxiety, what a joy! Oh, and he's also the son of a very popular hero and felt forced into becoming a hero as to not disappoint his dad, but that's not really important, is it?
Dakota Cole is (unlike William) an normal kid. He lives an average life. Everyday he goes to school and does his work. He has no powers, no hero identity. He's just a kid, struggling with the death of his parents.
Now, what happens when the four of these people cross paths?
Or, William is a supervillain in training under Mallard. Vyncent and Ashe are heroes, but they kind of suck at their job. And Dakota is so fucking bored of being normal.
Or, or, in a random brain blast I got this idea, and now all of you have to deal with it :)

“I had no intention of things turning out that way but like, kinda cool that they did!” He defended and the others in the room laughed harder as he was promptly pulled down to the ground by his nephew. He laughed as well and sighed, looking at the teen before rolling his eyes.
“I was telling a story,” he hummed, nothing but joy in his tone.
“I know, and you can tell it while you sit next to me,” They laughed and he wrapped an arm around them before sighing.
“Okay so like I was saying, I had no intention of it turning out that way, I still don’t know how things ended up this way, yet here we are,” he hummed as he now had everyone interested in what he had to say.Rae would have done anything to protect Athena, it’s all he’s wanted to do since he took them in, but he’s sick now, and Athena is starting to realize just how much their uncle had hidden from them to keep them happy and safe.
