Summary
Megumi’s suitcase wheel gets caught between the crumbling grout of the stone walkway that leads to the lighthouse. He has it in his right mind to turn and walk right back down that hill, get back on the train, and head back to the city, but he knows nothing waits for him there. He doesn’t know exactly what he’s looking for, but he knows whatever it is isn’t in his empty apartment. The lighthouse looms over him as he struggles to pick up his luggage.
