Summary
Tommy Innes works in a coffee shop run by his family. He works there full-time now that his dad's too old for it, and his brothers are making their way through life. It's mundane work, and it's normal. It's nothing more than chatting with regulars, pouring coffee, baking pastries, and doing it all again the next day.
And then, a man in sunglasses and a mask wanders into the shop and becomes a regular. Tommy shouldn't be so captivated by the change- especially because all they do is sit in the corner booth and write in a notebook- but he is, and he wants to know why 'R' is so secretive about the pages and his face.
OR; Tommy gets a new regular at his coffee shop, and suddenly, he's not so content with his old routine.

It’s not exactly an admission of defeat. But it sure does feel like it, with Ranboo looking at him like he’s just agreed to gamble his life savings away at the poker table and they have a royal flush in their hand and an ace up their sleeve to boot. “So you’re down to be my boyfriend?”
Tommy halfheartedly glares at them, fighting back a smile. “Don’t push your luck.”
In order to win a bet, Ranboo proposes that he and Tommy start dating. Fake dating, obviously, because there’s nothing behind it, right? Yeah, of course. Nothing will happen. Nothing at all.

Lips crashed into his own, the taste of cherry lip balm invading his senses. A shocked gasp left his lungs when the other departed, eyebrows fixed in a sort of angry confidence.
It was nearly lost on him how many people surrounded the two, but the eyes that bore into Tommy's skin were more than enough to stop an increasing urge to grab Ranboo and pull him back in.
OR; Tommy and Ranboo have always had tension between them. When you grow up, that tension can switch up on you.

Summary
Just when Maven Calore thought his life couldn't get any worse, it did.
