Chuuya disregarded the wary gazes trained on him. He crossed to the bullet-ridden table, drew the documents from his suit, and dropped it onto the desk with some sort of finality.
“We’re done,” he said flatly. “I’m filing for a divorce.”
And that was how the ADA found out that Dazai wasn’t single, but taken, married, and soon to be divorced—all in one sitting.

Summary
His grip on the collar of the other’s clothing tightens, and Chuuya finally catches a glimpse of their face illuminated by the moonlight.
Wavy brown bangs cover part of the man’s face, and he’s tall—way taller than Chuuya, he begrudgingly admits. The man has long eyelashes and beautiful honey-brown eyes that widen once he sees Chuuya, and Chuuya feels his breath hitch once the moonlight shifts to reveal more of the other man’s face that begins to look so achingly familiar.
The very same face of the man he used to see in his dreams every night.
The face of the man who he bared the deepest part of his soul to and promised to spend the rest of his life with.
His partner, who he watched die in front of his eyes, is right in front of him—unmistakably alive and well, and Chuuya holds back the curse that threatens to erupt from his mouth.
Or, Skk yokai au where Dazai disappears in an accident and they reunite, fight, make up, and make out—maybe not in that order.

OMG THE WORLD BUILDING IN THIS ONE IS SO UNIQUE AND FUN I NEED LIKE 5000 MORE FANFICS IN THIS WORLD RAHHHHHHH and they way they wrote everyone so in character and incorporated a lot of story aspects from the main story and beast, gonna be thinking abt this one for a while for sure making my s tier even though it’s probably not getting finished but hey a girl can dream

But this time it wasn't because of that, alright. To be honest, Dazai was quite certain that everything was solved—that Atsushi would catch him in time."
Or, Dazai was trying to solve a case, but he ends up as another victim... in a different world.
Or or, ADA Dazai Osamu in BEAST universe, having to deal with a BEAST PM boss Chuuya that recently lost his Dazai and is barely holding it together. When he sees ADA Dazai, he completely loses it.
