Paul waved a hand over John's eyes, then snapped twice, enough to startle him— John didn't budge. Not even after Paul touched and gently pulled at a strand of hair (to test his awareness, of course).
Retreating, Paul felt another smile rise. Though they'd stayed at each other's frequently nowadays, he'd never known John talked in his sleep.

Paul was out at a bar when suddenly he started flirting with a girl sitting next to him, after a few hours they found themselves in bed together when suddenly they heard the door of the room fly open with a loud noise. There stood Lennon, furious.
‘Mom and Dad are fighting’.

John unclenches from the weight of Paul’s, being way too close from his nape. In distant length, he says, “just makin’ sure you don’t get whisked off by a man who wants to lure you ‘round the loos in here and ravish you in the toilets.”
Paul stares at him with a staggered pause, eyes weirdly confused, before he blows it off with an ugly cackle, soon changing to him hacking something out as he begrudgingly swallows and croaks, “you’re crazy.”
“Crazy? How much you hurt me, woman.”
from the beatles kink meme prompt: Hamburg-era fic where John is very aware of the effect that Paul has on men while Paul himself seems oblivious. John is jealous and overprotective, and is exhausted from having to constantly fight creepy men off. Maybe he eventually starts saying that Paul is his, belongs to him, to keep people away. So it can have a fake dating kind of vibe with paul not even aware that they're fake dating. Author can choose POV and whether or not John is a reliable narrator or not. Mclennon endgame plse!

Summary
A month after receiving their MBE’s Paul McCartney is ready to argue that the Beatles have as much or more power and social influence as those who would like to influence the band. Arrogant? Maybe, but it's no justification for what happens to him after someone spikes his drink during a meet-and-greet with the toffs. Thus begins a nightmare for him, for the band, and especially for John Lennon and the whole "McLennon" relationship. Note TRIGGER WARNINGS as you see them.
Although it wasn't written as such, the short story "The French Kiss" is a good prologue to this book.
This story is ENTIRELY a work of fiction, and a product of my own imagination. I do not own the Beatles and wouldn't wish any of this on them.
