These are bits I've written or re-worked from roleplays in the context of the crossover, which... You don't have all the details to but I'm hoping you can wrap your heads around what I'm puttin down easily enough to enjoy them as is given each fandom. I'll try to keep it so the Like Minds one shots are first, since those could still go canonically with just that fandom, and put the ones that involved all of them from both The Secret History and LM after, so it's easier. The first oneshot has no sex at all, just sensual stabbing. I wanted to offer the option of oneshots for each fandom due to some people possibly not being interested in the plot entirely for that story but wanting some content still.

It's the fourth sniffle that breaks the almost deafening silence of their dorm room and Alex sits up, about to fling his pillow at Nigel, who is directly across from him.
"If you don't go blow your nose, I will smother you to death, Nigel," Alex hisses as menacingly possible, despite that his voice does crack from misuse due to sleep.
The sniffly lump that Alex can vaguely make-out in the dim moonlight that filters through their curtains, doesn't move.

Or, Alex has a whole (gay) crisis bc he thinks he might actually care about Nigel and (maybe needs to use the Internet for some self-discovery) that he likes it when his mentally eel roommate is dependent on him.

Safe to say, everything was falling apart for Alex. He had been neglectful of his studies since last week, his excuse of saying that he was writing a eulogy for Josh can only do so much to persuade his professors. With the knowledge of his door being locked, Alex dragged himself to the empty bed in his room and laid on it. What was once Nigel's bed, now it's… nothing. He barely asked Raj how Nigel was now that they're roommates. Strange. Alex would physically gulp down on nothing just to clear his head. He stands up and pretends to himself nothing was happening—that sitting in that spare bed didn't give him any comfort.

The hall was too hot.
Not from fire, though flames roared in the twin braziers at the foot of the dais; nor from the crush of bodies, though the air was thick with the smell of sweat and wool and oiled leather. The heat was heavier than that. It was the weight of ceremony, of all the eyes in the room fixed forward, of duty and tradition and ritual piled on top of each other until it smothered even the air.
Alex shifted in his seat and resisted the urge to tug at his collar. His tunic, a royal crimson trimmed in cloth of gold, was finely cut, but no seamstress could change the fact that it chafed at the neck. He had been sitting straight back beside his father for what felt like an eternity, and there were still knights left to kneel.

"You're the first, okay?" Nigel tells Alex, like this is supposed to mean something to him. "The first."
It does, Alex realizes. Nigel was untrusting of others, quiet and shadow-like for a reason. He knew he didn't fit in with the other kids and it wasn't intended to be because of quirky reasons.
Nigel Colbie was unsettling, he was a loner because he preferred it and it was safer that way. He did not know how to handle the idea of companionship. He found interest and fascination in what others found disgusting and off-putting. He did not entertain the idea of playing docile, caretaker wife and kindhearted, nurturing mother. He was not capable of love. He was obsessive and observant of what he was interested in and his sights were locked onto Alex, because Alex threw himself in the cross-hair and now he cannot escape the scope.

Or, the Forbie relationship is forced because their fathers meddle too much and still believe in arranged marriages and believe that their sons would be good for each other (match each other's freak too well) and there's nothing that either of them can do except get to know each other, while still playing their fucked up mind games. *swoon*

Alex glares at the offending device in his hand, like it had grown sentient and took the picture of Nigel curled up on his side, facing Alex, a pillow trapped under his arm, half of his face is covered by the dark sweater that he wears to bed, as it’s chilly in the hotel room. Nigel never sleeps without a sweater or sweatpants this time of year, truly, a unfortunate outcome for Alex as he is blocked from being a typical boy caught in his adolescence of having his skin touch the bare skin of his bed-mate, even if said bed-mate feels as cold as a corpse most nights.
The picture doesn’t do the real-life image justice, but Alex doesn’t complain; it isn’t often that he’s able to capture a quick picture of Nigel without him noticing.

Or, what if Alex had a flip phone and actually allowed himself some grace and let himself admit that he found Nigel attractive and wanted to capture the moments.
