Summary
The last time Dick saw Jason in civvies he was 14, short for his age and all chubby, rosy cheeked enthusiasm. He’s none of those things now - broad shouldered and tall, eyes sunken above hollow cheeks, skin as grey as the granite headstone before him.
No guns or helmet or body armour in sight and Dick is glad for it, but Jason looks strangely diminished without them. If Dick didn’t already know that this was the same person that fearlessly led Batman and Nightwing on a meticulously premeditated gauntlet across the city a fortnight ago, he never would have guessed.

Summary
Dick thinks he’s been doing an admirable job swallowing down his anger these past few months, but he barely keeps it in check now. He can feel it churning in his stomach, bubbling in his lungs, burning at the back of his throat.
Or; the one in which Dick actually has a reaction to Bruce and Jason's plan.

Summary
Jason Todd’s plan to have Black Mask break the Joker out of prison falls through when the Joker isn’t interested in helping Black Mask deal with a nobody, upstart crime lord. So, Jason has to improvise. Maybe enticing the Joker will do the trick. Maybe showing the Joker who he’s really dealing with will bring the clown out to play… but how to do that?

Summary
Do you…” Prime found himself asking before he could stop himself. “Do you feel like we’re redeemable?”
He was surprised by Jason’s immediate answer, as if he was expecting this, or maybe he’s always willing to play this game that never had clear answers. “Depends what your idea of being redeemable is.”
“Redeemable like… if we’re worth trusting again.” He thought of the billowing red cape, the broad chest with the symbol of hope embroidered across it in bold, bright colours. He shoved down the immediate thought that it made him feel like a fraud if he ever thought he could wear that suit again like he’d ever deserve it. “If we’re worth believing in.”

or
Prime has a hard time believing that he’s doing anything worthwhile in his path to redeem himself, and Jason tries to talk him down from the ensuing mental spiral.
