Summary
hey remember that one time Thancred just casually dropped the line "yeah man OF COURSE I want to die and take the whole world with me sometimes, who HASN'T felt like that" and everyone just kind of moved on? Yeah Estinien saw him sacrifice himself to defy the Endsinger first and has suddenly decided that we're not actually going to move on from that.

Summary
A piece of Nidhogg still remains inside Estinien, and every once in a while it deigns to speak to him. The first time he meets G'raha Tia, the wyrm declares the man is far more than he seems. Suspicious, Estinien investigates further, and what he learns dismays him. G'raha has proven he will deceive, betray, and endanger his friends if he deems it 'for the greater good', yet for some reason the rest of the Scions seem to trust him implicitly.
If they won't protect themselves from a threat, Estinien is determined to do it for them. But it turns out he and G'raha have something in common that he would never have expected, and Nidhogg isn't done interfering with their relationship yet. Mayhap the man isn't all bad.
