But Aziraphale is still shaking his head.
“No, no, I - of course, we can, apparently,” he stutters. “But what I mean is - Crowley, we can’t summon Her without a plan, first!”

Summary
Once upon a time humankind and magical creatures like dragons, minotaurs, krakens, giants and others, agreed on a pact.
It came with rules and traditions that kept the balance in this world for a long, long time.
Crowley, a shapeshifting dragon, has been part of this system for as long as he could remember.
He guarded the castle, protected the princess and followed the given rules (with a certain amount of creative interpretation that is).
But when a certain knight arrives, who isn't particularly interested in the role given to him, the story begins to shift and a rather unusual arrangement unfurls.

In that brief breath of a moment that it takes Eddie to spot him, he allows himself to just look.
Eddie seems younger. Lighter. Like someone reached in and lifted the weight off his spine. There are creases at the corners of his eyes from squinting into the sun, and his jaw isn’t set the way it’s been for months now, braced against whatever comes next.
It’s like they somehow slipped through the cracks of the universe into the reality where they were still just Buck and Eddie, Eddie and Buck, two dysfunctional halves of the same dysfunctional whole, the only thing that always worked even when everything else didn’t.
Maybe this is all it took, to stop being perceived for a second by the people who know them. A chance to reboot, fall back to default settings. Buck thinks distantly that he would do it again. Every aching muscle, every hour in a middle seat – he would do it a hundred times over just to see Eddie look like that.
Or, the roadtrip kidnapping fic (where they stop at the motel and kiss and talk before the shit goes down).
