Summary
Post Season 2 - Angel is on the publicity trail with Val and an unexpected act in a nightclub gives him food for thought.
Based on an obsession I have with 'My Buddy' by Chet Baker fitting with the Huskerdust headcanon that I have been nursing for six months.
I know Viv has only confirmed that Husk plays sax, but he could be a multi instrumentalist, and Chet Baker is a trumpet player so trumpet made more sense for this story.
Please be nice to me, this is the first fic i've written in over 20 years! (i'm so old! >_<)

Summary
When Husk quit drinking, he promised himself a quiet life: no liquor, no noise, no drama. His tattoo studio keeps him steady, his art keeps him grounded, and the Hazbin Café next door knows his order by heart. He has his interns, his friends, the small community he’s built around ink and morning coffee — it’s enough. It’s peaceful.
Then Anthony walks in, all pink coats and nervous smiles, asking for magnolias to cover what love left behind. What starts as a commission becomes something slower, softer: easy conversations, quick-fire banter, and the dangerous return of warmth.
Some things can’t be rushed — not tattoos, not recovery, not love.
