He thought again about Suna, about all the young shinobi who would be out now competing to decide which one had the sharpest aim with a kunai as a cool breeze whipped across the training grounds, about the stall near the Kazekage Tower that sold heaping plates of luqaimat dripping with date syrup. He wished he could go home. Everything in Konoha reminded him of the one thing that was missing; the cold was a constant nagging taunt that there was no warmth waiting for him at the end of this miserable day.
It's winter in Konoha and Kankuro's mood is as gloomy as the weather. It also doesn't help that everyone around him seems to have the one thing he's missing.

Summary
Kiba’s hands worked their way down Shino’s back, deliberate and unhurried. Shino’s thoughts, usually so precise and organized, scattered further with each passing second. He was acutely aware of every sensation—the heat, the pressure, the proximity—it was all beginning to be too much.
Just then, Kiba’s breath ghosted against his shoulder, followed by the faint scrape of stubble. Shino’s brow furrowed, a question forming on his lips, but it vanished the moment he felt the sharp, teasing graze of Kiba’s teeth against his skin.
“Kiba—” Shino began, but the words faltered as he felt Kiba’s hands slide lower, settling just above his waist.Kiba hummed, the sound low and rich, vibrated against Shino’s skin. The noise sent a shiver racing down his spine, a stark contrast to the oppressive warmth enveloping him. Shino swallowed thickly, his mouth suddenly dry, but words escaped him entirely as he leaned forward, bracing his hands against the cool tile of the wall. The fleeting relief it offered did little to counteract the relentless heat radiating from the water—and Kiba.
Kiba and Shino shower together, It goes as well as you'd expect.
