Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, there lived a most beautiful and wise kitsune. Living amongst humans as an infamous publisher, renowned editor and elegant shrine maiden, many looked at her and saw a puzzle just waiting to be solved.
The puzzle was hardly a difficult one, what with the pieces scattered about in places where anyone might pick them up… And yet, no one ever got much further than the mirth in squinting eyes, or the grins hidden behind manicured hands.
That is, until rumors of an enchanting traveler entangled all of Inazuma. It’s said that by her tiny, starlit hands, gods fell and harbingers weeped. And like a little shooting star, the kitsune watched as her entire world was flooded by the traveler’s compelling light. It wasn’t long before her charms began to wane and her love began to form... Some even say it was love at first sight.
