"It's beautiful, Marques," Nikki smiled, hugging the sketchbook close to her chest. "You really have an eye for this sort of thing."
"Thank you," Marques stared at the floor, hiding her blush. "I just hope I can pull it off," she added, more to herself than to Nikki.
Nikki put her hand on Marques' shoulder, bringing herself closer to her. "You're a great seamstress, I don't know why you wouldn't be able to. You've got so many high-quality fabrics too. Your Fireworks Knight outfit turned out fantastic."
Marques didn't meet her eyes. "No, it's not that…" she sighed. "I just mean, I'm not sure if I would look all that great in it. I don't wear skirts all that often, but I just love the way they look in the wind. I wanted to incorporate that."

Tan Youyou straightens and presses another kiss to Giovanni’s lips, this one short and chaste. Giovanni is beautiful, so of course he thrills at the sensation of their bodies coming together even if the pleasure is only one-sided. Giovanni does try, though. When they come apart, he touches Tan Youyou’s cheek with one hand before stroking his hair from his eyes. It’s something.
“Good job.” Tan Youyou butts his forehead up against Giovanni’s chest, taking in the faint floral scent of him. But that’s not the only thing. This close, he can sense Giovanni’s Whimancy coursing through him like a surging tide, a rain-swollen river. Giovanni is a powerful stylist—almost too powerful to be believed.
