Summary
“I guess I’ve gained quite the reputation in some circles,” Orion said as he thickly swallowed the rest of high-grade clinging to his glossa. “I’m experienced, even if I may not look the part.” Megatronus hummed, seemingly pleased with the answer. Orion wasn’t in the habit of discussing his private life with strangers or colleagues, especially considering what said part of his private life pertained to, but the expression on the gladiator’s face was void of judgment, and he allowed himself to relax.
“We really do have the same profession. I wouldn’t have guessed,” Megatronus replied, lying back on the couch of the crappy bar. The scraping sound of well used iron-furniture made Orion grimace.
Or, Megatronus, a gladiator working on the side as a hitman, and Orion Pax, an archivist and sugar baby, misunderstand each other as having the same job when they get hired to infiltrate a Senator's party.

Day 2: Private, Respect
Neutrals are returning to a post-war Cybertron. Some of them got ridiculously rich during the war by investing with assets they had acquired during the Functionist reign. Because that money was earned off-world and during the war, new Cybertron hadn’t considered it when writing their first tax and trading laws. Optimus Prime has a plan: first, legally define Functionist-derived assets, income earned from capital ‘entrusted by the institution of the Primacy’. Second, call on the Primacy’s power to retract that grant, thereby stripping those individuals of the endowed capital. The issue? Most of those grants were made by the joint power of the Prime and Lord High Protector.

Summary
Eddie Munson had lived through monsters before — real ones, with teeth and claws and a taste for blood. What he hadn’t prepared for was this: the way Steve Harrington kept pulling him into late-night conversations and half-lit car rides, like Eddie was supposed to know what to do with a heart that never stopped bruising.
It was supposed to be nothing. A slip, a laugh, a kiss that didn’t mean anything. Except Steve kept coming back, and Eddie kept letting him. Indiana still spat the same slurs, the newspapers still screamed about a plague in cities far away, and Eddie still knew better than to hope.
But hope had a habit of sneaking in anyway... tucked in the way Steve looked at him when he thought nobody else was watching.
—
Or: Eddie survived bats, Vecna, and Hawkins. What finally killed him was Steve “definitely straight, except when he isn’t” Harrington and his goddamn smile.

Summary
It was supposed to be a simple supply run. A scientific vessel out in deep space; all they had needed to do was drop off some more energon and replacement lab equipment. The ship wasn’t supposed to fire on them. There weren’t supposed to be zombies. And, most critically, Starscream wasn’t supposed to be a stupid aft and get bit by one of them.
