Her love for Robin wisped away like smoke between her fingers - and god, in the sanctuary of her own kitchen she could finally admit that it was love - and it had shoved her heart in a blender; it felt fitting enough to be a punishment, but it was still only a tenth of what she deserved.

“The white board.” Nancy raised an eyebrow, and there was a mischievous look in her eyes. She grinned like a fox in a henhouse. “And those tallies you guys mark down. What’s your record?”
Robin’s heart caught in her throat. Fight or flight response kicked in as she took a breath to steel her nerves - but she couldn’t concede to Nancy Wheeler. She was cut from better cloth than that. “I don’t know, why don’t you tell me?”
Nancy gave her a devilish stare and took a deliberate, slow lick of her strawberry ice cream cone, not breaking eye contact with Robin the entire time, then said “At least one.”

Summary
It all started with a game of ‘Never Have I Ever.’
Mike and Will find themselves quiet as their friends put their fingers down when the questions of sexual experience come up.
Later that night, Mike approaches Will with a risky proposition. "What if we practiced together? Just for experience, so we don't feel so behind when we get to college."
Will, surprised but intrigued, agrees to Mike's plan. What starts as a strict arrangement for ‘practice’ slowly turns into something more meaningful as the two childhood friends explore intimacy together throughout the summer, discovering not only physical desire but the surprising connection they share.

“No, Robin, you don’t get it. I’ve known those boys basically their entire lives, Mike is not Will’s Tammy. It’s just, like—” he huffed, frustrated now. “It’s not even a comparable situation.”
Robin didn’t seem to get it. “Sure it is! Mike’s straight, and Will’s crush on him is what helped him to come to terms with his feelings. It’s a completely comparable situation.”
Steve grabbed his keys from the dish next to the front door and started shoving on his shoes without a second thought.
“Where are you going?” Robin asked, gesturing back to The Price is Right on the TV. “This isn’t even a re-run!”
“There are more important things than the big showcase right now, Robin. You’ve led little Byers completely astray here, and I’ve gotta go fix it.”
OR
Steve finds out that Mike is Will's Tammy and has no choice but to take matters into his own hands.
