Summary
When Holmes' birthday present to Watson goes awry, Watson demands a moratorium on deductions for the rest of the day. Not content with this, Holmes makes a most interesting counter-offer: he will introduce Watson to someone better at deduction than he, his own brother.

Summary
"This could have waited until the morning."
"No, Mycroft! No, it couldn't," Sherlock barks.
Mycroft does so hate when he insists upon the shouting. The volume is quite unnecessary. But he knows from a lifetime of past arguments that reminding Sherlock of this will only get him more shouting, so he says nothing.
"You killed that man, Mycroft. We need to talk about it."
Mycroft sighs again, heavier this time. Short-sightedness has always been one of his brother's most frustrating flaws.
"I did not kill him. That is a gross misrepresentation of the facts. You should know better than to stoop to hyperbole," Mycroft chastises. He knows the condescension will win him no favours, but he is feeling tired and irritated, so he indulges in a little wanton emotionality.
"You placed an advertisement that informed his captors that people were onto them! You practically invited them to dispose of him," Sherlock growls in response.
"That is more accurate," Mycroft concedes.This is a missing scene between Chapters 7 and 8 of Part 7 of my Bloodhound series (the GREE retelling w/in my canon rewrite). You probably should read it first for the contents of this argument to make sense.

Summary
Nervous that his discovery of Holmes' drug abuse has ruined any chance at being brought along to any future cases, Watson finds himself overtaken by an abnormally difficult flare up. When Holmes states he cannot leave London to hunt for a missing aristocrat, Watson hesitantly agrees to go to Switzerland as his field agent and prove himself as a worthy assistant.

Summary
A new case involving a strained marriage caused by a wife desperate to keep a secret from her husband forces Holmes and Watson to examine the nature of secrets, privacy, and trust- not only in the relationship of their client, but in their own partnership.
This is Part 5 of my Bloodhound series, an alternate-history, pseudo-steampunk audio drama adaptation of the Sholmes canon. This part deals with some plot points and conversations discussed in the previous part, so I would recommend reading that first.

Summary
In an alternate history Victorian England where some technology (most notably audio recording) is anachronistically advanced and the British Empire is starting to collapse, Dr. Watson distracts himself from his spoils of war (PTSD, a prosthetic arm, and a growing resentment towards British nationalism) by obsessively recording his very queer roommate and his very singular profession.
This is planned to be a full rewrite/adaptation of the ACD canon that engages with and hopefully subverts and has interesting conversations about the themes of British imperialism, white supremacy, crime, poverty and gender.
There will be eventual John/Mary/Sherlock but its going to take a While so buckle in. I'm putting the slow in slow burn.

Summary
In alternate-history Victorian England, here are the moments in the lives of the residents of 221 Baker Street that go without being re-corded by Dr. John Watson’s Recordari, and therefore unobserved by the world.
This is a partner series to my canon rewrite, Some Observations Upon the Taming of the Bloodhound, which takes place in an alternate pseudo-steampunk universe.
