"How long have you been racing?" he questioned SB, who'd begun to also lift his motorcycle onto its wheels.
"Hard to say." SB shrugged. He swept one leg over the bike and jumped up onto the seat, a movement that was swift and obviously practiced, done a thousand times before.
Ecko furrowed his eyebrows. That was potentially the weirdest answer he could have given.
"What do you mean, 'hard to say'?"
Ecko hasn't been beaten in a race in a long, long time. A man of mystery waits behind the starting line with promise to derail his streak.

"Clown," SB began, a simple questioning gaze enough to slice at the seams keeping Clown's composure, however much of it he had left, intact, "do you not know how to ice skate?"
Clown winced. Busted.
Accepting an invitation to go ice skating is a pretty terrible idea when you've no idea how to skate. In most circumstances, anyway.

Then, SB's gaze turned steel, suddenly stripped of vacancy. A sense of void began to drain through to him; subtle at first, but as he continued to scan around the hall it grew, settling completely the moment he had confirmation.
Though, oddly, it hadn't seemed to be that stark to the rest of the attendees. Everyone else appeared to be ignorant to something he'd picked up on almost immediately.
Clown wasn't anywhere to be seen.
As it turns out, SB likes the idea of a prom date a little more than he thought he did.

Clown's armor durability's rapidly decreasing. Green inching into yellow. Desperation’s starting to set in. Maybe it won't hurt to indulge him a little bit.
“Please, SB- Please leave me alone,” he lets a note of pleading into his voice, “Pretty please?” He pearls away before SB can get in a reply.
“Oh, but Clown, I don't think I want to,” SB appears behind him a second later and Clown can practically hear his self-confident smile.
He throws down a speed potion and keeps sprinting.
“Are you trying to get me to beg for my life?” Clown asks, half-jokingly.
“Would you?”
Or,
SB attacks Clown and because of their deal, Clown can't fight back. He can only run.

It shouldn't be this big of a deal. So what if Zooble threw his own words back at him and forced him into a dress it's just a joke and it totally doesn't hurt at all. Jax should just get going with this game already, it'll be fine.
