Maybe if she were unemployed and back at Point Place she would have found it in herself to obsess over Steven Hyde, be endlessly consumed by him, and let that failed fantasy fill her with dread. Ilya had to try everything in his power not to lose it.
Thank god Yuna was filming this. This moment had to be treasured one way or another, and he was already looking forward to the moment Shane would see this once the anesthesia wore off.“Not a nurse. Your husband of 3 years, Ilya.”
“Husband??” Shane almost got up excitingly, which led to the nurse having to calm him down a bit. “Oh my god nurse, I hit the jackpot! Look how handsome my husband is!”.
Or: Shane gets in an accident on the ice and goes under for surgery. Ilya is absolutely unprepared once he wakes up.
