Summary
Despite Ignis’ encouragement that most of his scars would fade over time, physically and mentally, Prompto just couldn’t make himself believe it. As the older beta rubbed aloe vera onto the various deeper scars littering Prompto’s freckled arms and legs, trying his best to nurse the internal wounds with soft praises and comforts, Prompto just felt ashamed.
It was a shame that nagged in the back of Prompto’s mind, as his body failed him time and time again. His legs, weak with damage, filled him with a hollow despair. His brain, suspected to have a certain amount of damage, caused him such headaches, migraines, and bouts of vertigo that all he could do was lie down in his nest and try to sleep. Not to mention his body and mind tired far too quickly to not be at least a little bit concerning. Sure, scars were one thing, but they didn’t make you lose control of your body ike this. You could cover scars, but you couldn’t cover that.

Summary
Prompto grows tired of being bound to the sea. Ignis is the prince's advisor who goes along with Noctis on his fishing trips in southern Lucis. Intrigued by the "man with shiny things on his face", Prompto finds himself bending the rules of selkie mythology to trick the man into showing him the world. But after a while, Prompto finds that being eternally bound to Ignis Scientia was a wonderful byproduct of his curiosity.

Prompto should really put his foot down in the door after the many times he’s been forced along into those dark caves on top of being Naga-napped. Really, the whole Naga part was the last straw.
