Summary
After Sirius runs away, Regulus is forced to attend Hogwarts in order to make political connections as the newly appointed heir. He transfers from Durmstrang with high hopes of finally making more friends and maybe even connecting with his brother. Things at his new school aren't as lighthearted as he expected, with crushing social expectations, annoying dormmates and way too many hypocrites with way too much audacity.

Summary
The leaking of one set of lyrics creates a domino effect for a series of life-changing events for Regulus Black. Amid a world tour, the band BlackRose finds themselves hounded by the media about the lyrics to a song written five years prior. Regulus's mental health takes a turn for the worst as his fears become near tangible in his swirling mess of a head. On top of the confusion and chaos of a leak, he's becoming increasingly attracted to his best mates, leading to what he believes to be obsessive thoughts that he's projecting onto them. Add the return of an estranged brother, past mistakes coming up to choke him, a child he desperately wants to keep out of the limelight, and a momager with no regard for his current state, and he's got the perfect recipe for a mental breakdown.

James Potter was reclining on his broom like this was merely a game he’d already strategised and won in his mind. His gaze flicked over Regulus, sharp and assessing, almost predatory in nature. Then he smirked—a self-assured grin that did little to ease the tension churning in Regulus’s gut.
“Is that a new cologne,” he called out casually, his voice loud enough to echo through the air, “or have you just stopped showering, Black?” Without a moment's pause, Regulus shot back, his voice smooth and unyielding, “No, I stopped by your house. Thought I’d try whatever your stupid mother was wearing.”
