Edelgard corners him after a lecture one day mere steps out of the Golden Deer classroom. He’s always the last one out; she must have known this and waited to ambush him while separated from the rest of the class. In the back of his mind, Claude strings together a fantastic sequence of curses.
In front of him, Edelgard takes a sharp breath. “I want her to join my class.”
“No I heard you right, I just can’t believe you have the gall to bring that up to me.”

Edelgard is relentless about Lysithea joining the Black Eagles. Intent on allowing Lysithea make her own decision, there’s not much Claude can do but watch.

Ignatz ponders the question for a moment; weighs it on the palms of his frigid hands. “I think it does,” he says. "It has to."

Sylvain frowns and tries to pick off a spot of dried blood on his lance handle. “Not really.”
“Maybe that’s why the professor asks you to help us every month.”
“I’d prefer to think otherwise.”
Claude clicks his tongue. “I never said it was a bad thing.”
“Isn’t it though?” He catches a glimpse of Claude’s distorted reflection in the iron of his lance.
“Probably. It depends on the context.”
“What about this context? Don’t you feel bad for killing, even if they are bandits?”
There’s a pointed sensation in the glance Claude throws him, as if his eyes are wrought from stalactites. “What does it matter?” is all he says in response before he slings his bow over his shoulder.

“I did,” Ignatz says. He’s right beside her but she feels oceans away. “What do you think?”
There’s a feeling in her lungs she can’t seem to recognize, like they’ve been deflated and pulled taut. Something in her hurts. She’s not sure what it is.

Inspired by Lysithea's solo ending in which she disappears after the war and nobody knows where she went. And then Ignatz, now a traveling artist, finds her.
She's dying. He brings the world to her.

She whirls around and points the wooden blade in his direction. “Did you come just to berate me?”
“No,” he says, eyebrows raised. “I came to train, but if you’re already here, let’s spar.”
Lysithea blinks. “Are you serious?”
“Are you afraid?”
Something in her clicks, red hot. She narrows her eyes and tightens her hold on the hilt. “No,” she says. “Are you ready?”
Felix unsheathes his sword in one long motion, graceful and practiced, as if by second nature. It cuts through the air and shines silver, clearly polished and well maintained, and for a moment Lysithea sees her own reflection in the blade. An animal, she thinks to herself, with her wide eyes and untamed hair. I look like an animal.
“Let’s go, then.”

Lysithea learns how to use a sword. The help she receives is abrasive, but she's never known how to be soft, anyway.

Usually they don’t add in extra items in the Monomachine, but in reality the chances to obtain said item just increased with two people killed. She imagined it will only go up in the trials to come. Something she’s almost looking forward to.
She hopes (and she laughs, a little, at the idea of that) that the gatcha gods are kind and lets someone roll that today. Kind, to her, at least, since she knows they’ll be quite cruel to the others.
