When a failed lucid dreaming attempt shoots you into a different reality, you're stuck grappling with skeletons, reality jumping, and relying on your wit to get you by.
Note: these ideas came from an old Undertale fic I wrote a few years ago. I got inspired and decided to rewrite it into a full story. ^^

The unfortunate thing about changing universes was that people tended to forget exactly how much you needed to be clued in on. People including yourself. Though your assumption that the animalistic traits stopped at ears, tails and the like was a fair one. That was the case for beastmen as far as your discreet digging could show so wouldn’t it be the same for fey? Horns and a tail didn’t seem too intimidating...
