Summary
Mingyu knew that his alpha didn't have any right to Seokmin, so he shouldn't have reacted that way. Seokmin wasn't his, the omega didn't belong to him and that was entirely his fault.
But still, he couldn't take it anymore when Seokmin came home with the scent of another alpha in him.

Summary

"Well, I...I was thinking a lot about this over the holidays. And, I think I've settled it. I have a crush."
"Cute," Seokmin hums automatically, before he freezes. His chest suddenly feels horribly tight. "You...oh. On who?"
"This is the part that you won't like," Minghao sighs, before taking in a big breath and mumbling, "It's Mingyu..."
"What?"
"It's Mingyu."
"What?"
"I have a crush on Mingyu, Seokmin."
For a moment, the piercing heartbreak encapsulating Seokmin takes a break to make way for pure disgust. "Mingyu? As in my arch enemy Mingyu? As in the Mingyu that I caught picking his nose once? THAT Mingyu?!"
Seokmin's heart is fragile, and it's belonged to his best friend Minghao for so long that he doesn't think he could ever give it to anyone else. But maybe he learns to share it without meaning to, when Minghao admits to liking the worst (but also kind of the best) person Seokmin knows.

It's been two years. An entirety of two years of Seokmin having a helpless crush on him. First meeting at Seungcheol's, Jeonghan's boyfriend, first game playing as a college volleyball player.
Seokmin was dragged along to help with support, though he wasn't needed with how loud Jeonghan was.
He remembers seeing Mingyu for the first time, standing in a line with the other players. Nodding along to what their couch was saying.
At first, he thought it was just a simple spike of interest because of his good looks. There's no denying how attractive he is.
Tall, muscular build, skin the color of honey, pink lips, and he would never forget that gorgeous smile of his. If someone were to say it, it'd be true.
Or, Seokmin is saved by his long time college volleyball crush. And he slowly begins to realize he's not the only one yearning.
