Every breath he took felt infused by Anakin—like the very air was vibrating with the energy of his desire, becoming imbued with the oxygen and his lungs and cells and blood, into the very minutia of him. Every breath, taken mechanically as if he was only doing the action because Anakin ordained it.
It was terrifying. It was awe-inspiring.
This want feels curdled—years long, decaying. Obi-Wan thinks it's his.
He is wrong.

Summary
Obi-Wan knows Anakin is special. He wouldn’t have been tasked with training the boy by his Master’s dying breath otherwise. He knows, but he doesn’t know.
His Padawan is alleged to be the Chosen One, much as Obi-Wan never cared for the lofty title. He looks at Anakin and sees a boy; it’s a struggle to see beyond that most days.
Anakin becomes a man. He strides away from Obi-Wan, braid cut—headlong into battle and troops flanked by his side. Obi-Wan watches him go, expecting to see just that: a man.
A vermilion star stares back.

Summary
In this 'verse: Anakin was obsessed/in love with Obi-Wan (so no Anidala). Haunted by dreams of Obi-Wan dying, Anakin turns to the Dark Side when Sidious promises to save Obi-Wan. Order 66 occurs; Obi-Wan's clone battalion attempts to apprehend him, but he escapes and learns of Anakin's betrayal. The fight on Mustafar ends with Obi-Wan rendering Anakin unconscious; his life on the run starts. Eventually, he's captured and imprisoned by Vader. Not long after, Vader slays Sidious. The Galactic Empire is ruled by Emperor Vader and his Empress Consort Obi-Wan.
