Armin wasn't special. He was just another kid, another soldier, another victim. Everyone lost something in their life, and really, he came out a bit luckier than most.
He began to get used to looking up to the courageous Eren Jaeger, the fierce Mikasa Ackerman, and the strengths of all his fellow soldiers. He wasn't strong like them, or incredibly quick witted. He was just the bookish one, and he was fine with things as it was.
But when comparisons are made, dots are connected, and the mistake of a couple that was better left buried points to one Armin Arlert, he began the journey to further himself along his friends and some people he thought he had lost in the fall of Shiganshina.

Serizawa Katsuya was stuck.
Despite it being over a year since Shigeo had left the office, Serizawa still found himself lost in the past. Trust was dangerously easy to come by for him—Suzuki being a prime example.
Reigen Arataka was everything Suzuki was not. Raw, patient, genuine- better than anything Serizawa could ever hope to be. He trusted him with his life. How could he not? But where Serizawa is vulnerable to suggestion, Reigen is quite the opposite. Trust was a two-way street—and Serizawa wanted to meet Reigen face-to-face.
With a new client on their hands and multiple accounts of an evil spirit, Serizawa would have to get Reigen to trust him quickly before it’s too late.
