Summary
Tesshou had bitten off too much in the past, for both good reasons and bad. Yet he built himself up as a man, maybe who did not always win, but who at least would always fight to the last. Who, if nothing else, shamed no one but himself.
The Tesshou here was a mirror he never even thought to dread looking into, because it was just that absurd. Kawachi Tesshou, a flake of a son; the Armament, different or gone; his friends, brothers, comrades... where were they if they weren't going to be in this junkyard when he came looking?
The Tesshou here did not know them.
