Outside on the balcony, Vi froze in terror. She pressed her back flat against the cold stone wall, clutching her phone with shaking hands. She needed an escape plan immediately.
She quickly dialed her workshop phone, and her fellow mechanic, Mylo, picked up on the second ring.
“Yo, Vi? Where are you?” Mylo asked over the loud sound of a clanking engine. “The garage is packed, and Claggor is stuck under a heavy truck.”
“Mylo, listen to me carefully,” Vi whispered frantically into the phone, her eyes wide with panic. “Caitlyn is pregnant with triplets.”
There was a short pause on the line before Mylo responded. “Triplets? Yo, that's great! Three Vi juniors!”
Vi groaned loudly. “Now is not the time, Mylo! Her father is chasing me with a giant pair of forceps! If I end up dying, I want you to burn all the porn stash under my bed.”
