Summary
Aside from music, all Dongmin has ever known is Donghyun.
Music was his refuge, the only place where he could say what he didn’t know how to confess out loud. Many of the songs were born from his presence, from his absence, from unfinished conversations and from the versions of Dongmin that only seemed to exist when he was with Donghyun.
Caught between yearning and reality, Taesan keeps making the same mistakes. He convinces himself that leaving is self-preservation, yet every escape feels worse than staying. Summary
If Dongmin’s going to have any chance of getting through today, and tomorrow, and all the days that follow after, then he’ll have to go back to the very start.
At least, that’s what his ex-therapist used to tell him.
But what Dr. Hwang hadn’t considered is that Dongmin’s very start dates back to nearly 15 years ago when he met Kim Donghyun for the very first time, when they were just two six-year-old boys in the same elementary class bonding over boring homework and card games and jigsaw puzzles that Donghyun never quite got the hang of. What Dr. Hwang hadn’t considered is that Dongmin’s very start leads back to Donghyun — always Donghyun, even after all this time — who used to be Dongmin’s best friend and first boyfriend and all-time favourite person in the entire universe, and also the one guy Dongmin really, really wishes he didn’t have to see right now.
(Dongmin’s plan was simple: go to the guidance office. Sit down for a session. Get advice for whatever weird burnout he’s currently experiencing. His ex-boyfriend standing behind the front desk was definitely not part of the plan.)

“I want your hands cuffed the whole time,” Leehan explains simply, annoyingly patient, like this is a completely rational request and not something straight out of a filthy fanfic forum. “Makes the bet fair.”

Once more, Taesan’s frontal lobe is working overtime, screaming abort mission you idiot!!! And yet, when he looks at Leehan’s face — the challenge behind the teasing, the weight of the moment pressing down on both of them — he thinks, what the hell. Fuck it.
So he lifts his chin, a little too defiant, and says, “Then what are you waiting for?”
Leehan’s eyes gleam.
(Leehan thinks Taesan can’t last ten minutes of being touched without begging. Taesan argues that he can last twenty in an attempt to prove him wrong. Key word: attempt.)
