Caitlyn had been on edge for the past week.
Last week, she had made the oh-so-silly decision to leave a little confession note in her crush’s locker– requesting that they meet near the big, pretty cherry blossom tree in the schoolyard on Valentines day; February fourteenth.
It was now February thirteenth and she was currently tearing her hair out.
Cait tries to confess to Vi on Valentines Day- it goes slightly different to how she had planned.

It was quiet as Caitlyn and Vi both processed the information, and then very slowly Vi pointed her finger to Caitlyn, and then to herself, one eyebrow raised up to the buzzed half of her hairline. “Us. Get married.”
A new law in Piltover prevents Zaun convicts from working topside without citizenship. Luckily for Vi, all she and Caitlyn have to do is take the next step of their relationship and get married, securing Vi a place in Piltover.
Only problem is, they aren’t in a relationship.

“I know, you keep telling me,” Caitlyn attempted to smirk, but her muscles failed her.
“Funny, Cupcake,” Vi deadpanned. “You’re going to bed, now.”

Vi comes to the Kirammans' mansion at night only to find Caitlyn sick. And because in Zaun, the best cure for a cold is nothing but homemade soup, she doesn't hesitate and goes to make her some. However, to her surprise, she's not the only one awake in the house.
