This probably could've been brushed off as a joke, if Logan wasn't so accidentally good at being a boyfriend. Either way, it's an easy explanation as to why they moved in together, and it's not like Logan's gay or anything, and if he was, he certainly wouldn't be gay for Wade. Wade is fucking annoying, even if he is really strong, and his eyes are probably Logan's favorite shade of brown, and he's the funniest person Logan knows, and sometimes when he's reaching for something on the ridiculously-high shelves of their apartment his shirt rides up a little bit and Logan keeps staring at his hipbones for some reason, and

Summary
Logan’s aware of his reputation; a man of few words and fewer emotions: a killer, a weapon. Ruthless, drunk, and mean.
It’s hard for him to think that he needs to shake this reputation, because so much of it is just so true. He is a killer, he is a weapon, and while he’s trying hard to break the cycle, a lot of the time, he is a drunk.
The one thing that’s wrong though?
Logan feels. So much. He feels all the time. Wishes desperately that he could stop feeling. After all, why would someone with no emotions need to drink until they fell down?
But the world - well, his world - saw him as some pathetic nothing, and it’s hard to shake a reputation that you feel is keeping you safe. Besides, there was never anyone around who cared enough to want to see Logan for who he truly was. There was no one left worth burdening his emotions with.
Until.

“Wade,” Logan says, pinching the bridge of his nose like the two-hundred year old he is. God, he can’t fucking believe that he’s head over heels for an actual relic sometimes.
“Yes, kitten whiskers?” This is it. This is where he gets absolutely heartbroken, and the fic gets tagged with ‘Hurt No Comfort’ because the author is deathly allergic to the concept of joy.
Or, Wade looks forward in time to see 14 million different futures. His profession of undying love goes well in exactly one of them.

It’s a realization that makes his knees feel slightly weak, locking with adrenaline to keep himself standing at all. He doesn’t want Wade to die—he’s lost so many already, too many people who dared to get even a little close to him—he’s tired of the damn pattern. He doesn’t know if he could bear it, if he’d survive just one more voice echoing in his skull.
(Or, Logan doesn’t want to lose Wade. So he digs his claws in and he doesn’t let go.)
